Collaborative action lab/asso

The "Marseille Imaging" institute is launching its " Research 2023 " call for projects to promote co-design by fostering collaborations between players in data science, instrumentation and application fields in the following scientific areas:

  • Ultimate imaging
  • Imaging therapy
  • Disruptive and innovative techniques
  • Imaging for all

The institutes are Aix-Marseille University structures supported by AMIDEX funding. The use of funding is therefore governed by AMIDEX financial rules and subject to evaluation.

The total budget allocated to the call for proposals in 2023 is €100,000.

PROJECT TYPES

  • Proof-of-concept" project, demonstration of a new proof-of-concept
  • Innovative project

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Theme
    • Projects in line with the scientific priorities of the Institut Marseille Imaging, focusing on biological or medical imaging.
  • Co-design
    • involves at least 2 laboratories/units belonging to the Institut Marseille Imaging.
  • The applicant (project leader)
    • members of Research units attached to the Institut Marseille Imaging.
    • new permanent staff or post-docs are strongly encouraged to apply
    • members presenting new lines of research.

ELIGIBLE EXPENSES

Funding: maximum €25k (1-year duration).

  • equipment expenses
  • operating expenses.
  • payroll expenses

Comments: the project sponsor undertakes to detail and justify budget planning according to expenditure by mass (Operating, Investment and Payroll).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Projects are planned to last 12 months.
  • Expenditure must take place before February 29, 2024. Expenses must be in line with those listed and justified by the project leader at the time of submission.
  • Projects will be evaluated by means of an oral presentation and an activity report approved by the evaluation committee.

VALORIZATION : all publications and scientific communications that have benefited from financial support from the Marseille Imaging Institute must mention the following sentence:
"This work was supported by the French government as part of the France 2030 investment plan, within the framework of the Aix-Marseille Université - A*MIDEX Excellence Initiative (AMX-19-IET-002) ".

Publications must be deposited in the A*Midex HAL AMU collection, the University's open archive.
